Mary Anne Chern has led our hospital’s development effort for 16 years, and has raised more than $200 million during her career.
Mary Anne has extensive hospital experience, having served as Foundation President and CEO for two Daniel Freeman Hospitals, Intercommunity Medical Center in Covina, Queens of Angels/Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, and Winthrop-University Hospital in New York. She also has received the top awards offered in her profession, including Professional Fund Raiser of the Year, Trailblazer, and Best Capital Campaign Awards.
She also has the distinction of being one of only four individuals internationally awarded both Fellow status and Advanced Certification by the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy and the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. She served as International President of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy 2010-11.
