Rotations
Rotations consist of 13 four-week blocks:
1st Year Residents
- Ward - 6 blocks
- NICU - 1 blocks
- Nursery - 1 blocks
- Clinic - 3 blocks
- Elective - 2 blocks
- Vacation - 3 blocks1
2nd Year Residents
- Ward - 3 blocks
- NICU - 1 blocks
- Clinic - 3 blocks
- Night Float - 2 blocks
- Emergency Medicine - 1 blocks
- PICU - 1 blocks
- Elective - 3 blocks
- Vacation - 3 weeks1
- Night Float - 1 block
3rd Year Residents
- Ward - 3 blocks
- Clinic - 2 blocks
- Elective - 3 blocks
- Night Float - 2 blocks
- Emergency Medicine - 1 blocks
- PICU - 1 blocks
- NICU - 1 blocks
- Vacation - 3 weeks1
1Vacation time is to be taken only during clinic rotations.
Night Call
Every effort is made so that resident(s) take call less frequently than the limit of every third night as per the ACGME/Pediatric RRC Guidelines.
