WMMC Launches New Campaign

White Memorial Medical Center has used advertising for many years to communicate our values and strengths, and establish stronger relationships with patients, physicians, employees and community members.
The purpose of the new ad campaign is to help consumers understand that in order to receive care at their hospital of choice, it is important that they choose a doctor who practices at that hospital and shares the same values and strengths.
In the case of White Memorial Medical Center and White Memorial Doctors, there is a set of five strengths that are highlighted throughout this campaign:
1. Faith-based, compassionate care
2. A community-based mission (the hospital is not-for-profit)
3. A focus on medical education (many of our physicians are faculty)
4. A legacy of focusing on primary care
5. A vision to be regionally respected for specialty care

This year, the ads will run in Los Angeles Magazine (November issue), Pasadena Magazine (November issue), La Opinion, Eastside Sun, and on bus benches along Cesar Chavez Avenue and large billboards along major freeways. Additionally, 60 and 30 second radio ads in English and Spanish will run on KFI-AM 640 and KLVE- FM 107.5

Online advertising is another important element of this campaign. A bilingual, mini website (micro-site) has been created specifically for this campaign to help consumers find and choose the right White Memorial Doctor for them. Also, for the first time in the hospital’s history, paid search ads will appear on Google and Yahoo. And animated ads will run on various health and lifestyle websites, such as Univision.com, WebMD.com and Citysearch.com.
