Making a Difference in People's Lives
With the support of donors, White Memorial Medical
Center is able to help many people in our community
through special programs, state-of-the-art equipment
and charity care.
Here are a few stories about people whose lives have been changed:
- Alex Zorrillo, who was born with a cleft palate
- Emily Hope, whose mother was at-risk for premature labor
- Brothers Kevin and Mario, who were both born with a cleft lip
- Dr. Martinez, chose to stay in Los Angeles and give back to his community
- Edward R. Roybal, fought the toughest battle of his life prostate cancer
