The Ahmanson Foundation Makes $500,000 Grant for Outpatient Pavilion
The WMMC Charitable Foundation has received a grant of $500,000 from The Ahmanson Foundation for the construction of the new Outpatient Pavilion.
The project, with a total budget of $13.1 million, includes Los Angeles Diagnostic Imaging, a high technology imaging center which opened in February, and an Ambulatory Surgery Center currently under construction and due to open early in 2010.
When the project is completed, WMMC will have dedicated ambulatory services that essentially double the hospital’s current capacity for diagnostic radiology and surgery. Also, WMMC will operate the most highly sophisticated, state-of-the-art diagnostic technology available in Southern California.
