John G. Raffoul, DPA, FACHE

Officer
As Senior Vice President of Finance at White Memorial
Medical Center, John Raffoul provides leadership for
all aspects of accounting, finance, budgets, reimbursement,
billing, credit collections, patient registration, information
systems, managed care, materials management and construction.
Before becoming Vice President, John was Director of Finance, implementing many cost-saving programs at White Memorial. He also successfully managed the installation of our hospital’s automated payroll system and initiated an open-book management program that shares with employees the financial goals and achievements of the hospital. John has also spearheaded the development of the hospital’s code of business ethics and core values statement.
Before joining White Memorial in 1992, John was Vice President of Finance and CFO for Terrace Plaza Medical Center in Baldwin Park and controller for Casa Colina Hospital, Inc. in Pomona. From 1984 to 1987, John was a senior budget analyst at White Memorial.
John holds a doctorate in public administration from the University of La Verne, a master's degree in business administration (with an emphasis in finance) from the University of California, San Bernardino, and a bachelor of science degree in management and accounitng from Loma Linda University. John teaches on a part-time basis at the University of Southern California and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
